Malaysia is a nation that truly loves sports. From packed football pitches on weekends and rows of kopitiams broadcasting early-morning EPL matches, to a younger generation passionate about Mobile Legends tournaments — sports is more than entertainment, it is part of our community's soul and culture. 1998rich was built with this in mind, offering a sports betting platform genuinely designed for Malaysians.
The first thing that sets 1998rich apart from other platforms is the breadth of available markets. You can bet not only on major European leagues like the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Serie A, but markets for the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, and FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in the Southeast Asian zone are always open too. That means you can back your favourite local team while following the drama of international leagues you love — all on one platform.
Badminton holds a special place in the hearts of Malaysians, and 1998rich recognizes this by offering one of the most comprehensive badminton markets among local online betting platforms. From BWF Super 1000 tournaments to the Olympics, every competition featuring Malaysian players such as Lee Zii Jia, Aaron-Wooi Yik and Pearly-Thinaah can be followed and bet on with competitive odds.
Esports is no longer just a pastime for young people — it has grown into a major entertainment industry in Malaysia. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang through MPL Malaysia, DOTA 2 through The International and CS2 through the Major Championship are all available in the Sports section of 1998rich. For those who follow the esports scene closely, this is an opportunity to turn deep knowledge of teams and players into real wins.
One of the standout features that makes the 1998rich experience feel different is the In-Play Betting system. Unlike standard betting placed before a match begins, In-Play Betting lets you make decisions based on how the match is unfolding in real time. If your favourite team concedes in the 20th minute but is clearly dominating possession, their odds may shift upward — and that can be a golden opportunity to get in at exactly the right moment.
On the matter of security and transparency, 1998rich operates under a recognized international license and uses 256-bit SSL encryption to protect all user data and transactions. The odds displayed are fair and calculated using a transparent algorithm — no internal manipulation, no odds tampering. A streamlined KYC account verification system ensures only legitimate users can access the platform, safeguarding the player community from any form of abuse.
For a more complete sports betting experience, you can download the official 1998rich app from the Download. This app is optimized for Android and iOS devices, offering real-time match notifications, one-tap deposits and smoother market navigation compared to the standard web browser version. For those who prefer betting on the go or while watching a live stream on their phone, this app is an invaluable companion.
The payment methods supported by 1998rich are another clear advantage. DuitNow, FPX, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, and Boost are all available for deposits and withdrawals. Deposits are processed instantly with no extra charges, while withdrawal of wins is handled quickly and transparently. For full details on limits and processing times, you can refer to the Withdrawal page.
1998rich also offers a wide range of betting markets for every match to suit all types of players. Newcomers just getting started with sports betting can begin with straightforward markets like 1X2 (win, draw or lose) or Over/Under total goals. Experienced players looking for higher returns can explore Asian Handicap, Correct Score, First Goalscorer, Half Time/Full Time and various Accumulator combinations that can significantly multiply their wins.
Ultimately, 1998rich believes sports betting should remain a fun and responsible entertainment activity. We provide self-control tools such as daily deposit limits, betting limits and self-exclusion options to help players manage their betting activity wisely. Your enjoyment is our priority — for more information, please visit our Responsible Gaming page.
